Join Destinee for a faith-centered fast focused on prayer, obedience and making room for God's direction. Come before God boldly with your requests for provision, clarity and financial breakthrough. Dedicate these 22 days to seeking His direction and trusting Him to provide. Everyone is welcome; you do not need a festival ticket to join the free fast and prayer gatherings.

Option 017 AM–7 PM food fast
Fast from food during these hours, with water or bone broth. Break your fast at 7 PM. Consider setting aside sugar and refined carbs during the 22 days as well.

Skip sugary foods and drinks, bread, pasta and other refined carbs. An option for anyone new to fasting or unable to fast from food.

Why fast?
Fasting means setting something aside for a time to focus on God and prayer. Throughout the Bible, people fasted to seek His guidance, draw closer to Him and make room for transformation. Jesus taught His followers to fast with sincerity, not to impress others (Matthew 6:16–18). You don't need to be a Bible scholar to begin. What matters is the posture of your heart toward God.
What is the purpose of this fast?
We are setting aside time to bring our businesses and finances before God: asking for wisdom, provision, clarity and direction, and being willing to obey what He shows us. Genesis 22 is our anchor; Abraham obeyed, and named the place “The Lord Will Provide” (Genesis 22:1–14). We are seeking God Himself as we trust Him with our needs.
Is this about following religious rules?
No. The heart of this fast is your posture toward God, not proving how much you can give up. Jesus taught against fasting for appearances in Matthew 6:16–18, and Isaiah 58:3–7 calls us beyond outward ritual to a life that reflects His heart. Choose a path that helps you give Him your honest attention.
Why is bone broth an option during the food fast?
Bone broth offers fluid and some sodium while you are abstaining from meals; the amount varies by product. It is an option, not a requirement or a guarantee against headaches or other symptoms. If fasting from food is not appropriate for you, choose a non-food option and seek medical advice when needed.
Can I join without a RONtober Fest ticket?
Yes. The fast and the October 1, 8 and 15 Zoom prayer gatherings are free and open to everyone. The October 22 closing prayer takes place during the ticketed RONtober Fest event; you can complete the fast without buying a festival ticket.
